I know I rarely do these journal entries, but I thought that it was time for a new one.
On my end of things, my life has changed a bit. Nothing too drastic, but enough to warrant a slowing down of art creation (oh yeah, I -know-. It's not like I update that regularly either, right?
). What is that change?
I got a new job. After seven years of working for Tim Horton's as a hostess, I finally switched to something different. It's not glamorous by any means, but it's a definite change of pace. I went from running around in circles, getting coffees and making sandwiches to sitting down in front of a computer screen, training. Most of my day consists of sitting on my rump so I've a feeling I might actually have to start exercising regularly again. Well, once I get over the last dredges of this cold.
Yep, I work at a call center now. It's not too bad, and there are some rules I don't quite care for, but so far it's going well. I'm learning far more than I ever thought I would about credit cards. Hah. Good thing is, in a few years time when I'm able to have one again, I have a good idea with what card I'd want.
But for now, I need to get caught up with bills, and this job seems like it's a good way to do it. They give bonuses and incentives if you work extra hard and long, and every week there's a draw to see who wins a big pot of loonies. Haha, imagine showing up to the bank with a huge jar full of a few hundred Loonies!
Anyways, that's what's been going on on this end. I'm still working on the Bigsley blog, so no worries to those new followers who watch me for that. This next one might be a bit of a doozy.
Hope things are going decent for everyone else. Feel free to tell me if you want--I love a good conversation.
